The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Prayagraj released its Physical Efficiency Test (PET) admit card on 18 July 2026, with the Prayagraj PET scheduled from 25 July to 28 July 2026. Admit cards for the remaining RRB/RRC zones will be released in a phased manner as each zone’s PET approaches.

RRB Group D PET Admit Card 2026 – Quick Overview

The RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test is the second stage of selection for Level 1 posts under CEN No. 08/2024. Only candidates shortlisted after the CBT are called for PET, and the admit card for this stage is being issued region-wise rather than on a single common date.

Note: The admit card release date and dates shown above are confirmed only for the Prayagraj zone as of 18 July 2026. Dates for most other zones are either partially announced or “to be announced” — these are listed clearly in the table below rather than assumed.

How to Download the RRB Group D PET Admit Card 2026

Follow these steps to download your PET call letter from the official RRC website:

1. Visit the official website of your respective Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC).
2. Click on the “RRB Group D PET Admit Card 2026” or “PET Call Letter” link on the homepage.
3. Enter your Registration Number in the required field.
4. Enter your Password or Date of Birth as prompted.
5. Fill in the captcha code displayed on the screen.
6. Click the Login/Submit button.
7. Your RRB Group D PET Admit Card 2026 will appear on the screen.
8. Check every detail on the admit card carefully.
9. Download the PDF and take two or three clear printouts.
10. Carry the printed admit card along with a valid original photo ID to the PET venue.

Candidates who have forgotten their password can use the “Forgot Password” option on the login page. If login access has not opened for your zone yet, this means your zone’s PET admit card has not been released; wait for the official SMS/email rather than assuming there is a technical error.

RRB Group D PET Standards 2026

The PET checks whether a candidate is physically fit for Level 1 railway posts. It has two parts — a weight-carrying task and a running task — and the qualifying standards differ for male and female candidates.

PET Standards for Male Candidates

• Weight-carrying task: Lift and carry 35 kg of weight over 100 metres within 2 minutes, in a single attempt, without putting the weight down.
• Running task: Run 1000 metres (1 km) in 4 minutes 15 seconds.
• Height: Minimum 165 cm for General/OBC/SC candidates; minimum 160 cm for ST candidates.
• Weight: Must be proportionate to height.

PET Standards for Female Candidates

• Weight-carrying task: Lift and carry 20 kg of weight over 100 metres within 2 minutes, in a single attempt, without putting the weight down.
• Running task: Run 1000 metres (1 km) in 5 minutes 40 seconds.
• Height: Minimum 152 cm.
• Weight: Minimum 45 kg.

The weight-carrying task is conducted first. Candidates who do not clear it are eliminated immediately and are not permitted to attempt the running task. PwBD candidates are fully exempted from the PET.

Important Instructions for PET Day

• Reach the PET venue well before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.
• Carry the printed admit card and an original photo ID proof.
• Wear comfortable sports clothing and running shoes.
• Follow all instructions given by the RRC officials at the venue.
• Do not carry prohibited items to the venue.
• Read every instruction printed on the admit card carefully before appearing for the test.
